Eliza is a Registered Psychologist who has over twelve years experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, couples, and families.
Eliza's therapeutic approach focuses on increasing client awareness around their own process, developing their self-support, and improving overall well-being. Eliza focuses on empowering her clients to be more assertive and to lead choiceful lives. She is currently studying Gestalt Psychotherapy, is trained as a Cognitive-Behavioural Therapist and has an avid interest in promoting self-esteem and motivation in adolescents and young adults. Eliza writes online therapy programmes for individuals who have limited access to therapy.
Eliza has extensive experience in working with families who have been affected by family separation and divorce, drug/alcohol related issues, parent/adolescent conflict and difficult adolescent behaviours. Eliza provides assessments and written reports for: the family court, criminal injuries compensation, post-traumatic stress, anxiety and general cognitive functioning.
