Diana is a Psychologist, accredited Gestalt Therapist and experienced
Relationship Counsellor and has been practising
in Perth, Western Australia for eighteen years.
She provides counselling and psychotherapy for a range of
problems, including relationship and marital difficulties, parenting
concerns, anxiety
and depression, self-esteem, confidence, and
personal development, work and career issues, grief and loss,
addictive behaviours and family-of-origin issues.
Diana is an experienced trauma counsellor and specialises in the treatment
of Posttraumatic stress reactions resulting from traumatic events in adulthood, or childhood trauma
such as physical and
sexual abuse and
neglect. She is skilled in treating Dissociative Disorders that may
result from chronic trauma.
Diana's therapeutic approach focuses on developing
awareness, enhancing well-being and increasing self support. Her
work is informed by her appreciation of the value of meditation and energy healing practises. She is a
gestalt therapist
of many years standing and is trained as a
cognitive-behaviour therapist. Diana is experienced in couple and family therapy,
working for many years as a youth and family counsellor in community based settings.
Professional supervision is offered to psychologists, psychotherapists,
counsellors and all trainee practitioners. Specialist clinical supervision
in the treatment of Dissociative Disorders and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder is available
on a group or individual basis.
Diana creates a respectful therapeutic environment where individuals
may resolve difficulties and increase their capacity for personal
growth and fulfilling relationships.

Medicare and Private Health Fund Rebates Apply
From 1 November 2006 the Australian Government introduced new
Medicare items for psychological treatment by Registered
Psychologists. This new initiative has given mental health a
similar standing to general health in the nation's funded Medicare
system and recognises the effectiveness of psychological treatments
